Zone Visits

£10 zone visit fee!

We are trialling new Zone Visit Days as of November 2022. We will be doing zone visits every Monday initially and every zone will get a visit once a month (there are 8 zones, so we will be at each zone for half a day on a Monday every month).

We have started zone visits to try and improve our efficiency and reduce our environmental impact and fuel costs. If they prove popular we will probably increase the amount of time or frequency with which we are in each zone.

Zone visits are for routine vaccinations, blood tests and dentals only. We cannot fit in lameness investigations etc into this time. Other procedures such as bandage changes may be possible on zone days on a case by case basis.

There is a flat visit fee of £10 (inc VAT) for a zone visit. If there are 4 or more horses, the visit is free like usual. If you’re on the Equine Health Plan and your vaccination falls on a zone day, you can’t store the free visit for use later.

Zone 1: South of Totnes, East of the A379 and West of the Dart.

Zone 2: Modbury, Salcombe, Diptford

Zone 3: Plymouth and Yealmpton

Zone 4: East Cornwall

Zone 5: Bere Alston, Yelverton, Princetown

Zone 6: Roborough, Plympton, Sparkwell

Zone 7: Wrangaton, South Brent, Buckfastleigh, Bovey Tracey

Zone 8: Newton Abbot, Ipplepen, East of the Dart
